The ESPR framework is in force and establishes the concept, governance and information requirements that future product-specific acts will use.

The timetable is indicative
The Commission currently points to Q3–Q4 2027 for the planned textile delegated act, followed by a transition period of at least 18 months. Timelines and scope may change as the work develops.

Prepare the information architecture
Brands can organise identifiers, fibre composition, manufacturing locations, suppliers, care, repair, take-back and supporting evidence without pretending that every field is final.
- Version readiness schemas
- Keep applicability decisions separate from data collection
Avoid premature claims
A readiness score, a draft field pack or a hosted passport is not a conformity assessment, a final textile DPP or an official registry registration.
