Identity and scope
Retain the product, variant, batch or item identifier, the market and the version of the schema used. This is the context that makes every later evidence decision meaningful.
Materials and manufacture
Capture structured values such as composition, facilities and origin only when the source and scope are known. Link a private supplier document or test report rather than copying an unreviewed statement into public text.
- Record the reporting unit
- Keep supplier and facility access scoped
Safety and care
Keep the approved care guidance, warnings, instructions and the source or review record. Safety information should be easy to find and should not depend on marketing consent.
- Retain superseded warnings
- Record who approved a change
Claims and calculations
A calculation needs its method, inputs, boundary, assumptions and date. A claim needs a source, reviewer and permitted audience. If any part is missing, mark the field preparatory or unavailable.
Publication and retention
Keep a checksum, publication receipt and immutable snapshot for every public version. Apply retention and deletion rules by purpose; private evidence and personal data do not have the same lifecycle.
